There are three main stages to do a penghafal Al-Qur'an, namely:
Preparation (isti'dad)
The main obligations of the Qur'an is penghafal must memorize every day at least one page and correctly by choosing the right time to memorize. For example:
Before bedtime, do the preparation beforehand by reading and memorizing the pages quickly (do not jump to memorize in depth).
After waking up one page memorized by rote calmly again deep concentration.
Repeat these rote (one page) until it is completely memorized outside the head.
Endorsement (tashih / deposited)
After preparation is done by always remembering a particular page, the next tashihkan (deposited) we memorized the cleric / cleric. Any errors that have been pointed out by religious teachers, do the following:
Give the error with a note (below or above the letter you forgot)
Repeat until the deposit is considered correct by the cleric.
Patient not to add new material and rote memorization but matter and long really been controlled and validated.
Repetition (muroja'ah / guard)
Once deposited, do not leave the place (council) to go before rote that had been deposited repeated several times in advance (as recommended by the cleric / cleric) to the cleric actually allow us to go home.

- Intend to get closer to Allah SWT to be servants of his choice keeping the Qur'an
- Istiqomah (hard-shell).
- Mastering reading the Qur'an correctly, both recitation and makharij each letter.
- There is a guide of cleric / cleric (al-hafidz/al-hafidzah).
- Minimal've khatam al-Quran 20 times (by reading each paragraph 5 times).
- Consistent use one type of Mushaf Al-Qur'an (al-Qur'an corner).
